List of Guided Reiki Meditations
Preparing the Environment for Meditation:
Choose a Quiet Space: Find a calm area where you won't be disturbed. This could be a dedicated meditation room or a quiet corner in your home.
Comfort is Key: Ensure your seating is comfortable. Use a cushion or a chair where you can sit upright without strain.
Set the Temperature: Adjust the room temperature to a comfortable level, neither too hot nor too cold.
Minimize Distractions: Turn off electronic devices or set them to do not disturb mode to prevent interruptions.
Use Subtle Lighting: Soft, soothing lighting, or dimmed lights can help create a tranquil atmosphere conducive to meditation.
Preparing Yourself for Meditation:
Reiki Practitioners Connect with Reiki: Initiate your meditation by connecting with Reiki energy in the way you know how.
Non-Practitioners Take Three Deep Breaths: Before you begin, take three deep, slow breaths. Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth to ground yourself and clear your mind.
Wear Comfortable Clothing: Dress in loose, comfortable clothing that doesn’t restrict your breathing or circulation.
Set a Timer: If you wish to meditate for a specific duration, set a timer with a gentle sound that will not startle you when it rings.
Have an Open Mind: Approach your meditation session with no expectations or pressure. Allow yourself to experience the moment as it unfolds.
The Inspiration Behind Our Mudra Meditation Series
The journey to creating this meditation series began in our Wellness Reiki Circle, where we first introduced mudras to enhance our practice and explore new dimensions of Reiki.
Our participants were enthusiastic about the addition but faced challenges in remembering the mudras, their names, and their deeper meanings.
Realizing there wasn’t anything available online that matched our specific practice, I was inspired to create a comprehensive PDF.
This guide includes detailed pictures, names, and meanings of each mudra used in our circle.
The creation of the PDF was not only a fulfilling project but also a fun experience.
It sparked another idea: what if I could make learning these mudras even easier?
What if everyone could learn their formations and meanings simply by listening?
From this thought, the concept of a guided meditation for each mudra was born—allowing participants to listen, learn, and practice the mudras anytime, anywhere.
In gratitude to our community and supporters, I recorded these meditations and combined them with the PDF to create a unique learning tool.
This resource is designed to be a gift to you, aiding your practice and providing a portable way to engage with Reiki and mudras on a deeper level.
